Very fun place...if you like friendly people and cards....to be honest I was alittle intimidated going In the first time I went in but the volunteers were helpful,friendly an Informative. The other players were kind and friendly and fun.it was like hanging out in your garage playing cards with your friends! P.s. I have been back several times...and will continue to keep going back.

Used to love the club and visited often but in the last year Ive started avoiding and let me tell you why: The Club seems to have lost their way in providing for their customers. Used to be you could play 1-2 and sit for several hours with a $2-300 buy in. Maybe you win maybe you lose but you could play poker and have FUN. Nowadays due to what i can only assume is a dwindling customer base and a lack of understanding what players want they typically will have 1 maybe 2 1-2 games going and last time I was in there was $18k on the table and the 1-2 game was really playing 10-20 or actually more like 25-50. Dont get me wrong thats great if youre a proffesional player grinding away 5,6,7 nights a week to pay your rent BUT if youre a recreational player who actually wants to play some hands, maybe have a beer or 2 next dorr and a couple slices of pizza? Its just not a game for you. In fact its damn near false advertising selling a "1-2" seat for $30 to those types of players. A standard 4x bb raise to 8, maybe even 10 or 12 dollars pre flop is a joke in the 1-2 game. Ownership SHOULD have seen the problem and adapted but they didnt and now they simply dont offer games for people who may only want to gamble with 4/500. When your club was at its peak it catered to people that just enjoyed playing some cards, somewhere along the way it started catering to the owners Golfing clique and setting up the avg weekend player to be chum to the wanna be professional sharks. Maybe I'm just too old (42y.o.) and out of touch but this place lost all its FUN and just became a place to hope one of the first two hands you get involved in with your 400 bucks gets through and doubles you up, otherwise its a short night or even worse a night of folding to non stop 25-40 preflop raising....anyway maybe this review reaches someone who cares enough to say to themselves " hey we should offer actual 1-2 games that play as 1-2 games and then actually open up some 2-5, or 5-10 games for those who want to play higher stakes

Good run poker tournaments and cash games. Nice fun atmosphere with no pot rake. Friendly dealers and staff. The more that I play at other places the more I realize how much I love the Shark Tank.
