The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower Introduce

The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower is a multi-faceted entertainment complex located at 2000 Las Vegas Blvd S, Las Vegas, NV 89104, USA. They can be contacted at (800) 998-6937 or +1 800-998-6937.

Based on online customer reviews, The STRAT offers a variety of experiences. For locals, parking is free. The casino floor has a circular layout, making it relatively easy to navigate. By obtaining a players card, patrons may receive perks such as free play money, discounts on dining, and complimentary drinks at the bar. However, some reviewers noted that the number of waitresses on the casino floor might be insufficient, potentially requiring guests to get drinks at the bar.

In terms of dining, Chi Asian restaurant is mentioned as having a tasty, albeit limited, menu with entrees in the $20 range. Alcoholic beverages, however, are noted to be priced similarly to dinner entrees, with beers around $12 and cocktails up to $18.

Entertainment options include the LA Comedy Club, for which tickets may be available at a discount through platforms like Groupon. The comedy shows are reported to be enjoyable. The iconic tower offers views and was reportedly uncrowded on a Saturday night. However, admission to the tower is now discounted for hotel guests ($10 on weekdays, $15 on weekends), a change from previously being free. This discount was not prominently displayed on the website, leading to frustration for some guests who paid full price and were unable to obtain a refund.

For hotel guests, self-parking is available at a reasonable rate of $20 per day, with the benefit of the rate extending beyond the checkout time. However, a significant drawback mentioned by one guest was the lack of Tesla charging stations in the self-parking garage, despite online information suggesting otherwise. The hotel and casino are described as starting to show their age (almost 30 years old), although the rooms are decent and relatively quiet. The compact layout of the property is appreciated for its ease of access between rooms and the self-parking garage.

While the reviews do not detail specific current casino promotions beyond the players card perks, The STRAT appears to offer a combination of gaming, dining, entertainment, and hotel accommodations. Potential local users should consider the feedback regarding drink service on the casino floor, the cost of alcoholic beverages, and the parking situation for electric vehicles. The players card is recommended for potential perks. The tower remains an attraction, but awareness of the current pricing policy for non-hotel guests is advisable.

I am a local, and we went to the Stratosphere for a comedy show at LA Comedy and dinner at Chi. We enjoyed the whole experience. Chi had a limited Asian menu, but the food was very tasty. The price range was in the $20's which is a decent price now a days. However, alcoholic drinks are almost the same price as the dinner, $12 beer up to &18 per coctail. We got the comedy show tickets through Group On, and the comedians were actually funny. We did gamble a bit while we were there and had a little luck. I would suggest getting a players card for some decent perks. We got some free play money, money towards our dinner, and 2 free drinks at the bar. The casino is circular, so there wasn't a huge walking distance. The parking is free for locals. Chi restaurant was close to the parking garage, but the LA comedy theater was at the furthest point. My only complaint is they do not have enough waitresses on the casino floor, so we got our drinks at the bar. Due to our positive experience, I would go back again.

Stayed here for one night on our spring break. Very disappointed to find no way to charge our Tesla in the self-parking garage, contrary to everything I'd read online. Why do so few hotels on the Strip offer charging? (Ironically, the casino had a Mustang EV on the floor, apparently a prize.) Had to drive several miles to find a charger the next morning. At least the self-parking was reasonably priced at $20/day, and I appreciated that that rate was valid until well after we checked out the next day. Also very frustrated to learn that admission to the tower is discounted for hotel guests to $10/person on weekdays and $15 on weekends. (Used to be free for guests.) I found no mention on this on their website and paid full price for tower tickets for six people before we arrived, and could not get a refund. We did enjoy the tower, which was surprisingly uncrowded on a Saturday night, including the cocktails we got there. Just frustrated to have paid more than $60 extra to get in. Overall, the hotel and casino, which are now almost 30 years old, are starting to show their age. The rooms are decent and reasonably quiet, and we slept well. I appreciate the compact layout of the place and that we were able to get from our room to our car in the self-parking garage much faster and easier than in some of the more sprawling casinos. We did not gamble or eat there, so can't comment on either of those.

We did not stay at the stratosphere so I can’t say much about rooms and the hotel itself . My wife and I traveled with a couple that have never been to Vegas. I had been to the Strat before for a dinner that was amazing. Thought that would be a great place to share. We eat there on Monday 3/10/25. To ensure we could get a table we made a reservation on Saturday 3/8. Come to find out they now charge a 25.00 per person reservation fee. The food was good not outstanding but good. After we were served it was a while before we could flag our waiter down to explain we received a wrong side dish. He did apologize grabbed the incorrect food and a while later brought the correct one . We were almost done with our meal at this time. No compensation was offered. As far as the reservation fee, the restaurant was maybe half full. No need to I spend the 100.00 reservation fee. Just a way for them to take advantage of you.

I recently revisited the Stratosphere yesterday for the first time since 2017, and I was pleasantly surprised by the changes! I didn't stay in a room, so this review is solely based on my experience on the casino floor. It's clear they've done a significant remodel; the casino itself is very nice, quite spread out, and feels much more modern than I remembered. The atmosphere was lively, and I found the layout to be comfortable and easy to navigate. A special shoutout to the lady at the rewards desk – she was incredibly pleasant and helpful. The one downside, which isn't the property's fault, is still the location. Being so far north on the Strip, it feels a bit isolated. Personally, I'm unlikely to stay here due to the distance from the main action and the concerns about walking around the area at night. However, if you're looking for a spacious and nicely renovated casino floor with a good atmosphere, the Stratosphere is worth checking out. Just be mindful of the location when planning your trip.

Gave us a half cleaned room, then the next room had a broken bed. Springs were broken on half of it. Do not park here! The parking garage is a nightmare. Worst system ever! It's not super hard to figure out, just takes time, they may have charged me twice, it's crazy expensive and after I checked out, the next night it says my car checked in again, 10 mins after midnight and it's charging me again! But I parked at a totally different hotel at 8 pm and haven't moved since. When I called the front desk he said that happens a lot and I have to call the 3rd party in the morning to get it sorted. Such a scam and waste of time. When we went to our room, only one of the two beds had been made. It's like the cleaner just quit in the middle of it. So they put us in a different room, no upgrade or credit for the inconvenience (very long walk to the front desk). The hotel and room are decent but they have some kinks to work out.
