Had a good Time… and it was not crowded to be on a Saturday night. The environment was laid back. They just need to turn up the music & get more waitresses… we only witnessed about two… & it was hard to get them for a drink… but all was cool.

It's a casino, a place made to transfer money from your pocket to the owners pocket. The entrance is somewhat weird. I'm from Germany and I had my german ID with me. The security put the card through their machine, and although the monitor showed visibly only green checkmarks, he had to call his supervisor and seemed to never had spoken the word 'Germany' in his life. But I was admitted nonetheless. The variety of machines is overwhelming. as is the whole atmosphere. Free drinks, while you are actively playing. Even case table games as roulette and blackjack. So far the place is nice. But the slot machines are not really explained. The first 10$ are lost, before you even get a grip on the underlying rules of the game. The tables have minimum bets between 15 and 60 $ as far as I saw. So if you are cheap, and not prepared to gamble at least a few hundreds, don't even think about it!

Today was the perfect day to visit Philly. The trip began with a stop at Rivers Casino. Ample parking in the front of the casino and in the garage. The entryway from the garage leads right to the casino. Upon entering, I had to walk through the smoking section to get to the non-smoking machines. Boy, did my lungs thank me once I hit the no smoking section. There are tons of machines for everyone's taste! I even saw a table for craps that had actually dice you could play by hitting a button. Ample food choices as well. It was a Saturday, so of course, lines were long everywhere. The wait wasn't long. Overall, it was a nice, clean environment that was fun. I would definitely return.

I love coming to River Casino. I received the opportunity to stay at the battery hotel. It was clean the greeting at the REGISTRATION desk was warm and friendly and check in with smooth smooth. The people there was so nice. I enjoyed my stay wish I could’ve stayed two days. I will be back. Loved it.

Overall a very exciting experience at the African American Chamber of Commerce event hosted by the Rivers Casino. The hotel is beautiful decorated and sits on a spot of land right in the center of Delaware and Columbus Avenues providing a great atmosphere with lights and entertainment for the city. The staff especially the attendance in safety were pleasant and helpful. The waitress and servers we at their optimum best serving with delight and hospitality. In the room we were we were viewing a balcony decked with poinsettias and lights for the season and yes it sets the backdrop for the night. Thanks to the leadership team of the hotel for giving all out with getting the ambience right and perfect. Well done
