I love this hotel for the comps. Thank you for comping my rooms almost every time for years! Please comp more bigger brand name hotels with the MGM plan so we can have fun at other places too. I see the rooms have been renovated, thank you for that, they are pretty basic now. I would love complimentary robes instead of towels that are too small. I also would love hair conditioner instead of a combo shampoo conditioner it's too drying. I didn't see bar soap, which is awesome; less waste! I would appreciate a better location on plugs to type on my computer with better ease. There were no microwaves or fridges or any free water. All things that are helpful when traveling. But, I still really enjoy staying here. Online check in is awesome or app check in but after a certain time you can't check in online any more if you fly in at midnight, if I didn't walk up to the front desk to ask I would have been waiting around until 2 am. I also appreciated the front desk person helping me with benefits as I was checking in the room I tried to reserve was no longer available so she helped me with another feature I had chosen.

I was pleasantly surprised by Excalibur! I had heard mixed reviews, but my experience was really positive. The staff were super friendly, and my room was super clean. The pool area was great. The main pool was a little cold, but the jacuzzi made up for it. Parking was easy and very accessible, which is a big win in Vegas. The location is also perfect right on the Strip, so you can walk to other major hotels and attractions. The medieval theme gives it a fun, unique vibe, and for the price, I’d say it’s a great value. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Very surprised and happy with my stay here. The rooms were clean and nice but nothing special, no cable so don't plan to watch TV here. They had a DJ at night on the weekend playing music instead of the generic casino soundtrack. Brought a fun party atmosphere with a lot of people. Reasonable table game prices, nice center bar with video poker. Will return to MGM resorts.

Let me start by saying I really wish my experience was better as I have friends who often stay here when they are in town. I didn't really get to enjoy the bed or room but from the breif time I laid across the bed, it was very comfortable. Unfortunately what I thought was going to be a nice little staycation ended up just being a night of gambling and ultimately losing a lot of money. No complaints on the gambling though, the machines pay out ok to me (I've definitely seen worse) the tables also are priced good too. Now here is the reason for my low rating. Our room was beside the elevator! The elevator raged up and down and through the walls every second! It was horrible! We didn't even sleep in our room at all! We just showered and gambled. I expected better but hopefully this is not the standard. I'm probably going to go gamble there tonight anyway lol. I just don't like that I wasted a couple of hundred dollars on a room that I couldn't enjoy...I even upgraded so I could ensure a relaxing stay.

I’m not one to be picky of cheap hotels but this one is a little worn down and less clean for sure. My shower did not drain and a friendly worker did come up to unclog it, but left the shower covered in hair and some nasty black residue. I was told someone would come clean and disinfect it, but no one did. I left little pieces of trash in the shower to see if they actually cleaned the shower the next day, but nope…they did not. Workers were alright. They were somewhat helpful although as a younger guest, I did not appreciate being berated every single time I stepped out of my room because they did not believe I was of age. Besides that, rooms were alright and beds were comfy although the ac sometimes would leave a funky smell in the room if left running. Hotel is at the end of the strip so you will have to walk at least 30 minutes everyday to get to the nicer hotels or major attractions. I can’t speak for the food because we did not eat at any of the restaurants since they seemed a little lack luster, but they seemed to be alright. Not many shopping choices inside the hotel tho, you would have to walk to any of the connected hotels to get better choices. Don’t think I’ll be coming back, but if you’re just looking for a cheap place to lay your head at night and don’t mind all these things, you’ll definitely enjoy it for what it is.
