The live band made this place come alive. Love the service of the servers at the bar. Super friendly and smiling. Casino itself is small and is outdated. I feel like if they modernize this entire place it will draw more audience. It is very slow even on a Saturday night. Quiet and, laid-back. Perfect for people that is introvert but wants to be out. Ages I've seen while I'm there was 35-65

The dealers and floors here are fantastic at what they do. Lots of industry experience, and they are very knowledgeable and run the room efficiently. However the food and beverage service staff are the worst I’ve ever experienced in any restaurant or poker room. I was finally able to place an order with one of them after my third try finding the one who’s “section” I was in. When it came time to pay, I paid one of the girls, and she walked away without a word, not asking if I needed change, or saying thank you for the 80% tip that she apparently assumed was for her. Thirty minutes later, another server came by and asked me to close out. I told her I already paid, and instead of finding out what happened, she went to the floor, and told them I lied to them and was refusing to pay. Thankfully the floors know me, as I’ve played here for years and I resolved the issue by paying AGAIN, so as not to trouble the floor over their idiot servers, since the one I paid the first time had left for the day. There are one or two really solid servers who have been around since before Maverick took over, but the rest of them are a revolving door of idiots that stay employed here for a month or two at a time. The food here isn’t great anyway, so if you’re coming for a good poker game, there is plenty of action and the poker side is run very well, but don’t come hungry. There are several dining options within walking distance.

The dealers are good but the service there is terrible. I order a tequila shot and they brought me a vodka with Red Bull and the bartender did not know how to make a mai tai and it took about 15 minutes, which sounds not very long but when you're sitting there, 15 minutes is a long time to get a drink Very strange environment. And this was not only one experience I've had a few with the service was just very terrible. I don't know where they know how to treat people and they expect a tip. I understand how things go wrong but every time I go there, the service is terrible.

Great place to play poker. Great, friendly and knowledgeable staff. Players are a mix. Some really good players and some that should stop drinking and play better (although I do like taking their money). Food is ok and will get you through a long night of playing. Has good high hand payouts and a nice Monte Carlo. Only gripe is that I wish the black royal during Monte Carlo hours (pays $5k) and the red royal (only pays $1k) were the same payout. Doesn't make sense they are different. I couldn't find any statics around the difference (red vs. black hitting more often).

Poker rooms are everywhere now. Ace's sticks out among the crowd. Dealers are friendly, poker manager was very helpful. Most importantly it feels like they have a no a hole policy, because the poker players are friendly and welcoming as well. Try this place if you are a newbie, they will take care of you and make you feel at home.
