Based on online customer reviews, opinions on SAHARA Las Vegas are mixed. One reviewer felt the price aligned with the experience but was misled by online photos of the rooms. They found the room decor to be outdated and not as depicted, mentioning a large printed carpet velcroed to the wall and an unsettling picture. While the bathroom/shower was spacious, the overall impression of the room and even the floor was concerning. The reviewer noted positive aspects such as a large TV, a big couch, and three tables. However, they found the lighting to be mediocre, the view okay, and the bed decently comfortable. They also pointed out that the room's design, including a mirror above the bed and a visible shower from the bedroom through a large glass window, makes it potentially unsuitable for families. For couples, it might be acceptable for budget-conscious travelers, but this reviewer would not return.

Another reviewer described the hotel's location as "crappy," advising caution at night due to the presence of homeless individuals and drug addicts outside the casino. They reported receiving a "very crappy room" initially and had to request a renovated room, which they were moved to the next day after a significant wait. The service was described as poor, with no extra towels provided and super stiff pillows. A late checkout request was denied, forcing the reviewer to wait in the lobby all day. This reviewer felt the hotel was unaccommodating and as expensive as staying on the Strip, concluding that management does not care about staff or guests and that their overall stay was unpleasant, vowing not to return.

As a "Casino Near Me" option that also offers hotel accommodations, SAHARA Las Vegas has received critical feedback regarding its rooms, location, and services. While the lobby and hotel itself might appear nice, the rooms may not meet expectations set by online visuals. The surrounding area is described as potentially unsafe at night. Service issues, such as room changes and inflexible policies, have also been reported. Local users considering SAHARA Las Vegas for its casino and hotel should be aware of these concerns. Information regarding specific casino features, dining options, entertainment, or current promotional offers is not detailed in these reviews.

Honestly overall I’m stuck between 2/3 stars. For the price I feel like i guess it makes sense but I totally got fooled by the photos I saw when I got to the rooms. The lobby and the hotel itself is nice but I was not impressed with the room after further inspection. Decore is old and not even close to what the picture showed me. It’s not painting it’s just a giant printed carp that’s velcroed on the wall… Not to mention the creepy girl on the wall that just never breaks eye contact with you. The shower/bathroom is spacious but overall I was not impressed at all and even getting to my floor I was definitely worried. When you see the rooms online and in videos and photos it looks really nice but when you walk in it’s different. I liked the big TV and the fact that there was a big couch so you can put stuff on there. And there were 3 tables as well which helped with that as well. The lighting is mid, view is okay, bed was decently comfortable. Not a family friendly place given the mirror on top of the bed ceiling and the fact that you can literally see the shower through a huge glass window from the bedroom. For a couple it’s fine and I think given the price of you can suck it up sleeping there if you want to save some money but I wouldn’t go there again.

Hotel is placed in a crappy area. Be cautions when you go out at night. Lots of homeless and drug addicts right outside the casino. They gave us a very crappy room. We asked for the renovated room. They did switch us the next day after making us wait until 230pm. They basically said get out of the room at 11 and hold your bags downstairs or wait until 2pm. We waited. Room wasnt ready til 3pm. The new room was nice. Services sucked. No extra towels for the room. Pillows are super stiff. They denied late check out which forces me to wait in a lobby all day long until my flight. Very unaccommodating hotel. Stay on the strip. This hotel is just as expensive as staying on the strip. Management doesn't care about their staff or the guests. Overall very unpleasant stay and won't be staying here again.

We had a great deal on the room. The room was recently renovated and the beds were very comfortable. The show included a handheld spray and rainfall shower heads. The casino was clean and never got smokey. Location was a little out of the way, but we liked being away from the hustle and bustle of the middle of the strip. The monorail station did make it easy to get to the major casinos. We enjoyed the convenience of the on-site restaurants. I particularly loved the tacos at the Mexican restaurant. Overall, the Sahara provided a quality stay for a good price point.

Really nice and spacious rooms, nice design and something different from other hotels. Very clean. Bathroom spacious and great big showers. Definitely a plus for a big sofa in the rooms. Pools are nice but shame they open so late and close so early (10-5). Gym is closed two days a week. Good prices in bars on floor level and really nice casino with great employees. You feel welcome and at ease, no pressure and can have a laugh with krupiers. Noodle bar has nice food. Cleanest bathrooms and toilets that you will find in Vegas. Hotel connected directly to the monorail.

Was so excited after seeing the videos and pictures of this hotel .....upon arrival found the room had not been properly cleaned and a adult type straw was found by my younger son ..also very dusty and dirty around the air conditioner......trying to roll up the blinds found we could only open 1/4 of the way and half ass fixed the chain .. oh not to mention the crapy design of the bathroom has toilet and shower in bathroom and a prison style sink in the room beware if you are staying with others the mirror door will guillotine you if not carefull my wife clocked my son in the head with the door very crappy design ...the service was horrible in the casino ordered drinks and left after about an hour and a half not getting my drinks will definitely stay away from this hotel/casino and recommend others to do so as well. If I could give zero stars I would .....maybe the other rooms in the other towers are nice but not the room we stayed in the smallest tower
