I was treated very poorly while trying to get a room. Management directed security to ask me for my ID and instructed me to leave the property after I was told by staff I could not use my form of payment to book a room. I was not causing a disturbance I was simply on my phone trying to find another hotel that could accommodate me. I was able to get a better room at a resort for the same price with no restrictions on form of payments. This hotel is not in a good area and should be your last option especially if you value kindness and hospitality. The way you treat people matters and the only person who was kind to me was the young lady with the glasses at the front desk. Everyone else seemed to be power tripping and assumed I was the type of person they were used to dealing with as I said the area is not safe and has a lot of foot traffic from strange people. You have no idea what a guest is going through when they walk into your establishment kindness matters! I have worked as a front desk agent at hotels for many years and never treated guest or potential guest the way I was treated. I was already having a bad day and the way I was treated made me visibly emotional but again I was not causing a disturbance. Don’t stay here you can find better for your money! Vegas is full of beautiful hotels this is not one…

I can't say much for the rooms or service because I just went to eat. The place served good food. I enjoyed it and it was inexpensive. I gambled a little before and after i ate. It was fun. There was a little wait like 15 minutes. I went around 10 am. You want to get there before 6 am so you can get the food for cheap. They have all you can eat pancakes for like 3 and change. Real good deals. You will love it.

I was expecting much more from the restaurant at the Longhorn Hotel and Casino on Boulder Highway. They used to be known for their great 16oz T-Bone or Porterhouse Steaks which I never got a chance to try. Come to find they took the T-Bone off the menu entirely a couple of months ago. Our server was very nice and enthusiastically recommended the Top Sirloin Steak Dinner for $11.99. When it arrived at the table it was a 12oz Steak cooked to perfection with not a trace of gristle. It was tender and perfect in every way but one: whatever grill they used to cook this steak, it must have been prepared in a smoke house. It didn't taste like a steak. It tasted (almost) like a burnt piece of Hickory. I thought it was me. So I endured. Because other than the taste there was nothing wrong with the meat. It was tender and juicy, rare-med rare as I ordered it. But the taste, oh my. If you're a lumberjack, maybe, but I'm not. The baked potato had to be (at least) 6 hours old. Yellow & starchy, exactly how you don't want a baked potato to be. I'm not one to complain so I didn't send it back b'cuz the Steak & Veggies looked perfectly fine. If you're a fan of Mac & Cheese like I am, don't order this. Tender macaroni in a tasteless and runny canned cheese sauce. I just couldn't finish the steak so I took about 4 oz home thinking it could've been my taste buds. But it tasted even worse the next day & threw it out. Sorry. It'll be quite some time before I return to this place.

The restaurant at the Longhorn Casino is my kind of place. A warm, friendly atmosphere coupled with great service topped with authentic home cooking. A pleasure to give them my business. My special roast pork and mash potatoes took me back home to my mom's cooking, just perfect. My compliments to the cook.

It's weird cause I'm a good customer at this place cause they were always professional but recently they've treated me so poorly. They give you a coupon for a free drink and after i ate in the restaurant which I always go to several times when I'm there , I went to the bar to get my free drink and the lady tells me she thinks that I found the coupon on the ground and so I had to get the front desk to tell her I had just checked out and then she tries to become my best friend....so I let it go cause I've been coming here for many years and usually everyone's nice, but then I go there recently and i m warming up my car after I checked out and a security guard comes in like one minute asking me what I'm doing and I tell him I just checked out, and then I decided to say something cause just the last time I was there there were a bunch of people hanging in the parking lot lounging around forever, to the point I was afraid to park there and it didn't look like anyone was asking them anything, they were sitting in the parking spot...just this last visit there were a lot of people sitting in the parking lot in their cars and I didn't see anyone asking them anything and some look like they're partying with loud music playing. Maybe they re staying there but I didn't see anyone asking them, I wonder why a good customer attracts their attention, weird, after 30 years I'm gonna try to find a new place. My dad always told me that it only takes one bad experience at a place to hurt a business even if the customer usually has a good experience....
