I recently stayed at this hotel and casino, and I have to say, it was just okay. The place wasn’t anything to write home about, but it had a certain charm. The rooms were clean, which is always a plus, but they felt a bit outdated. What really stood out to me, though, was the staff. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made a difference in my overall experience. Whether it was the front desk team or the casino staff, everyone seemed genuinely nice and eager to help. The casino itself had a decent selection of games, but it could get a little crowded at times. I enjoyed my time there, but if you're looking for a high-end experience, you might want to keep looking. Overall, it was a solid stay for a night or two!

The hotel offers great value near the Vegas Strip. The hotel room is oversized with new carpet, draperies, couch and bedding. The pool area is very nice. We stayed midweek for only $80/night. The parking was free. This hotel offers the feel of a 3.5 star hotel at a bargain price. The hotel seemed to be understaffed. Our room was skipped for maid service. In the evening, no one answers the extensions for housekeeping or the front desk. Eventually, we had to wait in the check in line just to get the fresh towels.

I’m not a fan of the rooms, even if they were renovated. Focusing on the good. I was there for a conference, so it was convenient. The refrigerators were able to be used. The Tavern had decent food minus the steak dinner. The service there was great. The hotel is not on the strip, so you’ll need an uber to get around. This isn’t a hotel that I’d book on my own. The rooms are large. The vibes gave me Brady Bunch on the renovated side. If your neighbor is smoking, your room will smell like smoke. They do have a Starbucks. That was a plus.

The hotel can do much better, starting with not having enough front desk check-in staff and the ones there who do not really seem to care about the guests. This is not really the best experience. My main critique would have to be the room and cleanliness. I was put on the higher floor of the Ipanema Tower, which was recently renovated. When I first walked into the room, there were stains all over the tile/marble area of the entrance and to the bathroom. There was some debris left on the floor of the bathroom. The sink faucet was not cleaned well. The magnifying mirror in the room has some stains on it, which it was not cleaned. Some pieces of paper and debris were on the floor by the couch, and some fried chicken bread was on the sofa. There were stains on the bed sheets and pillow. Thankfully, I had two queen beds, so I slept in the other one. On both nights, when I took a shower, the water started to get warm/hot, but then it went cold for a few minutes and then got super hot. I would not stay here if I didn't have a conference at the property.

They don't tell you about the extra $470 per room charge on top of whatever you pay for the room. So checking in and paying for 3 rooms set me back an extra $1500 that I was not prepared to spend on rooms. I had no hot water in my shower for 2 of the 3 days. The rooms were big, clean and pretty good. One whole wall was a window, so the view was great. Location kind of sucks because you can't walk to the strip. Rideshare made the trip much better.
