It was a decent experience. The casino floor is surprising clean. All the staff were extremely helpful. They even have a separate area for smokers that’s walled off from the rest of the casino. So it didn’t have that ashtray smell that a lot of other casinos have. If you came to play slots, you will thoroughly enjoy your time here. If you play table games, make sure to watch a few hands played before you sit down. I sat at a three card poker table. Such a historic building to have such a well-done casino. The buffet is very very good I highly recommend the macaroni and cheese! As a smoker I would like a little bit bigger smoking area. It's nice to earn free parking as well if you sign up for a jack card. It can save you quite a bit of money! Great atmosphere for or after sporting events or concerts!!

I’m giving jack casino a 4/5 bc initially, they turned me away. My ID has a broken corner, they didn’t try and slide it in their machine to verify, they just handed it back and asked me to leave. I ended up talking to the supervisor, and they verified my ID. After this, it was a really fun night. Good food, good players club, and I won 80$!

Always a great place to visit! The best experience is to come by light rail RTA and everything is inside. I used to go here when Jacks was Higbees. The lower level is a buffet, mall food court is how I can best picture it. Well done and clean with a lot of diners but I personally did not think the food looked as good as it could for a casino. If you liked this Jacks, go to Jacks Thistledown in Warrensville and that is a whole different experience. DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TWO: Downtown - Has table games Thistledown - Has live horseraces during the spring summer and fall on select days usually Mon - Thurs. Downtown - more casino workers are visible and interacting with patrons SAFETY!!!! Downtown - I grew up here in the 60's...Here means right here, you could see the terminal from my neighborhood 3 miles south, it was the tallest building in the skyline by far. Look up, see all the buildings taller? NONE OF THEM WERE THERE!!! Personslly I think Key Bank is an eyesore piece of architecture. It was safe to ride my bike downtown, alone at age 12, or ride the rapid or the bus to downtown. Today, be aware of your surroundings OUTSIDE. It is a casino and you are watched everywhere so you are good inside and most of the perimeter outside. Even in the entrance at Public Square (Tower City) There were three Jacks yellow shirted security guards. Not shitting you, one looking north, one east, one west with Jacks door in the back. Coincidence? I notice good security like this so yes, I felt safe there. Once you leave the grounds, yuu are on your own. My point being "The Terminal Tower, Higbees (now Jacks), public square, and Prospect and Ontario aren't like they were 50 years ago." HOW TO BUS TO THISTLEDIWN JACKS: Your bus will be a eastbound will say 19, 19A, or 19B. If you want a fun easy way to get there take the RTA bus. Daily fare one way is $2.50 so grt a full day pass. That is a round trip ticket cost but it still is good it you want to run around downtown. I often take the bus as it is safe and reasonably priced with clean busses. The route is 19/A/B at Ontario and Prospect right outside Jacks door. It is a 45 minute ride. Please see my Jacks Thistledown review on google maps.
