Nice hotel/ casino. Friendly and helpful staff. A bit smoky on the floor. Minor maintenance... screws on closet doors would keep them from availing the floor. (But, very minor complaint.) Enjoyed our stay!

I’ve stayed at Hollywood Casino and Hotel multiple times and here are the highlights: 1. Service: it’s always been a very fast checkin and check out process. The staff is very nice during this process. The house cleaning staff have been accommodating as well when we needed extra towels 2. Rooms- they’ve always been clean and beds comfortable. We have had some rooms that have a marijuana smell but that’s becoming more common at hotels now. 3. Food- they have many options at the casino and Phat Thai is our favorite! Overall it’s a good value with great service.

While I understand that the staff has no control over the weather it's no excuse to ignore your clients. Our stay on 3/14 included a series of dangerous storms that prompted emergency measures be taken. Power was lost to the entire property but there was back generator power to the casino floor. People who were there from out of state or areas not local to the casino were told if they left the building they would not be allowed to return. As a guest myself I found this to be distressing. Once power was lost to the resort the hallwaybto the elevator was completely dark and required the use of my cellphone flashlight to see. My room no longer had air or power of any kind. The fridge defrosted all over the floor, vending machines for drinks snack as no longer worked due to lack of power and all restaurants and food options were closed. Beverages on the casino were no longer available unless ordered through a server. As someone who has been coming to this facility for over a decade I was very distraught to see that if I was going to spend money to gamble I was welcome but if I wanted to leave and find food I was told I could no return. I guess guest comfort measures are not as important as you say they are, only money is important. As of morning still no power or food of any kind available. Most disappointing experience I have ever had. Was never even asked by any staff if there they could do for me during this event. Will think twice before returning in the future. Again I understand that you have no control over the weather, but to have the front desk staff say we hope you had a great time was even more insulting.

Checked in on 4/1/25 for our 40th anniversary. I can't say enough about Jackie. What a great employee you have. Friendly, efficient and caring. You are so lucky to have her working for you.
