Casino staff were exceptionally rude. I have been coming to Las Vegas for over 30 years. I joke and kid around with dealers and serves all the time.. blackjack dealer gave me a crap hit card... I responded not that card and she attempted to skold me and tell me that this is a serious business and people are watching... Let me be the 1st to tell you how much you can piss off. This is entertainment only. I bet a lot of money when I gamble. Had I been drunk rude or disrespectful I can completely understand attempts to correct my behavior... But I come to Vegas to have a good time not be treated like some freeloader. Your staff needs to learn what customer service is about.

The Golden Gate gives you the opportunity to stay in one of the first casinos in Las Vegas. While an average room may be small by modern comparison, they allow you to step back in time. The service by the entire staff is top rate. The casino and hotel features photos of old Las Vegas. You feel transported back to an era when the Rat Pack ruled. Plus, you have the Fremont Street Experience right outside the front door. Don't miss the opportunity to stay and play the old Vegas way.

Around first of this month I stayed. Im not superstitious, i am not a ghost hunter. Everything was great but definitely I had a haunted experience . I left with a different view about these kind of things. I stayed in one of the original rooms. First night I heard a lady crying in the hallway. I just minded my own business and didn’t think anything of it. The second night was fine. But when cleaning my room for check out. I found fresh blood on my pillow. I checked my body if I was bleeding. Nothing. When I had first flipped my pillow and discovered the spots, It was so fresh and still spreading. Like some kind of movie but it happened in person. . I was so spooked I just took this picture and checked out and told the front desk about my anomaly. Service was great. Hotel was very clean besides the haunting part.

Close to Freemont Street but a few things to know. Room was very hot and never cooled off. It was also extremely loud until 2:00 am. Had issues getting my players club perk for staying there. Spent like 30 minutes at counter and she never figured it out so no perk. Cool vibe in small casino. A lot of history and it’s vintage. Cute place but just a few downfalls
